RIP Elvis Moreno aka TapeMaster
An Unsung Legend of The Hip Hop Culture has passed away. Elvis Moreno aka ‘TapeMaster‘ (center) was a member of The Cold Crush Brothers. A classmate of @coldcrushezad he was encouraged by @djtonycrush to come on board with the group and record the shows. I have to say that 75% of the recordings we all listen to today TapeMaster recorded them from ColdCrush Trecherous3 Furious 5 Fearlous 4 and so on TapeMaster is responsible for documenting the humble beginnings of Hip Hop Music! Always spoken about but never given his Flowers his legacy will live on and we all owe him a debt of gratitude! Only 60 years old he passed away comfortably in Puerto Rico. Big shout out to RedBull BC One and JohnJay with his team for putting together a phenomenal event in The Bronx this past weekend! Now I might be wrong but this was the first time RedBull BC One put an event together in The Birthplace of Hip Hop! Young Old Hip Hop Heads from all ethnic background came out for a beautiful event in Hunts Point! Shout out to All The BC One Allstars that came out!!!
